In CE certification, what are the common testing items for the EMC, LVD, and RED directives? Today, we've prepared a brief article to give you a better understanding!

Common lvd directive Testing Items:

1. Input test;

2. Power test;

3. Temperature rise test;

4. Overload test;

5. Leakage current test;

6. Moisture resistance test;

7. Overload test;

8. Dielectric strength test;

9. Ground resistance test;

10. Power cord pull test;

11. Plug torque test;

12. Impact test;

13. Ball pressure test, etc.

Common EMC Directive Testing Items:

1. Conducted emissions;

2. Power radiation;

3. Space radiation;

4. Magnetic field radiation;

5. Voltage flicker;

6. Harmonics;

7. Electrostatic discharge (ESD);

8. Surge/Lightning strikes;

9. Voltage dips/interruption, etc.

Common red directive Testing Items:

1. Electromagnetic compatibility testing (emc testing);

2. LVD safety testing (In the new directive, RF products powered by batteries are also required to undergo this test);

3. Radio communication equipment testing (RF testing) according to European ETSI standards;

4. Spectrum notification for Europe;

5. CTR (TBR) testing;

6. Electrical safety and health protection testing (SAR evaluation).

ce certification process:

1. Fill out the application form, confirm product name, model, quantity, and submit relevant product documentation;

2. Receive a quotation, make payment, and undergo application form and certification documentation review;

3. Upon passing the document review, conduct product testing and create a draft certificate;

4. The applicant reviews the draft certificate, provides feedback if modifications are needed, and a revised draft is issued;

5. Certificate is issued.
