What is a ul test report? What is UL certification?

The United States has very stringent safety requirements. For many years, all electronic product manufacturers within the US have been required to undergo relevant safety compliance testing. As Amazon's strategic position in global commerce continues to rise, foreign electronic devices have been entering the US market through Amazon. The US does not mandate safety compliance testing for foreign electronic product manufacturers. However, due to a series of incidents involving electronic products catching fire, on September 24, 2017, US authorities issued laws specifically targeting e-commerce. These laws require Amazon to notify foreign e-commerce sellers on its platform to provide relevant safety compliance reports. Amazon must order sellers to cease sales until they submit test reports meeting UL standards. Additionally, the test reports must be qualified reports issued by laboratories accredited to ISO17025/ILAC ISO 17025 standards. UL Certification Process

UL certification involves product testing and factory inspections, with audits conducted quarterly. The process is costly and time-consuming. A UL test report is issued after a product is tested and meets the corresponding UL standards.
