Baby Sleep Products Compliance on Amazon Ireland

This policy covers cribs, cradles, bassinets, and bedside cots.

1. Cribs

- A crib (also known as a cot) is designed to provide a sleeping environment for children.

- Features railings that restrict the child’s movement.

- Can be used alone or with accessories.

- Typically, one side can be loweRED for easier access.

- Internal base length does not exceed 900 mm.

- Covers hanging cribs and mULtifunctional cribs that can be converted into:

- Toddler beds

- Day beds

- Changing tables

- Excludes cribs intended for medical or hospital use.

2. Cradles

- A cradle is a small bed designed for a child’s sleep.

- Features railings that restrict the child’s movement.

- Can be used alone or with accessories.

3. Bassinets

- A bassinet is a small bed specifically for infant sleep.

- Supported by:

- Independent legs

- Wheeled base

- Fixed frame or stand

- Bedside cribs and baby sleeping baskets are generally referred to as bassinets.

4. Bedside Cots

- Similar to a bassinet, providing a sleeping space for children.

- One side can be detached or removed to place it next to the caregiver’s bed.

5. Amazon Crib and Cot Compliance Requirements

Amazon requires all cribs, cradles, bassinets, and bedside cots to be testedand comply with one of the following standards, if applicable:

6. Detail Page Requirements

Your product detail page must include:

- Model, part number, or item number

- Manufacturer or brand name

7. Submission Requirements

Documents:

- Test report or Certificate of Conformity (CoC) issued by an EU or UK-recognized laboratory or global subsidiary, proving compliance with the standards above.
