Expert Team & History

The expert team of JJR Medical Device Animal Experiment Center has been engaged in animal trials of medical devices since the 1990s, and they are among the earliest technical personnel in China who have been exposed to and studied FDA animal trials and safety & efficacy evaluation.

Laboratory Scale & Equipment

JJR Large Animal Experiment Center covers an area of approximately 5,000 m², equipped with 2 Class 10,000 laminar flow operating rooms, 1 DSA operating room, 1 CT room, 1 MRI room, large animal feeding rooms, clinical testing rooms, dissection rooms, pathology laboratories and other supporting facilities. It can accommodate more than 500 large animals (e.g., pigs, dogs) and over 2,000 small animals (e.g., guinea pigs, rabbits) simULtaneously, and is equipped with large-scale equipment including CT, MRI, mobile DR, anesthesia machines, patient monitors, color echocardiography instruments, negative-pressure dissection tables, etc.

The center is capable of conducting large animal experiments for medical devices, providing preclinical safety and efficacy evaluation services for high-end medical devices, as well as optimized solutions for large animal experiments in product R&D and medical research. It is committed to building a high-end medical device R&D outsourcing technical service platform, providing integrated services for medical device innovations at home and abroad.
