EN 71-9 Organic Chemical Compounds Testing for Toys

en 71-9 Toy Safety Standard specifies the migration or content of specific hazardous organic compounds in particULar toys and toy materials, considering the following exposure routes:

- Mouthing, swallowing, skin contact, eye contact, inhalation

when used or reasonably foreseeable, taking into account normal child behavior and the function and design of the toy.

Packaging materials used in toys are excluded unless they are part of the toy or have play value.
