How to get a US CPC Certificate?

However, many Amazon sellers report that selling toys on Amazon requires a CPC Certification. Without this certification, products will be removed. What’s the reason behind this, and how can the delisting be resolved?

C. Based on third-party test results, the manufacturer or importer issues the CPC certificate, which can also be assisted by third-party laboratories.

D. Children's products must meet all applicable rules or regulations.

Types of Testing:

1. Initial Testing: First-time product testing.

2. Material Change Testing: Testing when materials change.

3. Periodic Testing: As a supplement to material change testing, if continuous production occurs without material changes, periodic testing must be conducted at least once a year.

4. Component Testing: Generally, the finished product is tested. In specific cases, all components can be tested to prove the final product's compliance.

5. The Children’s Product Certificate (CPC) can only be issued based on tests conducted by recognized third-party testing laboratories.

2. All applicable regulations and standards for the product

3. Information about the importer or manufacturer (US-based): including name, address, and phone number

4. Contact information of the individual holding the test results supporting the certificate: name, address, email address, and phone number (usually understood as the manufacturer outside the US)

5. Production date and address, with the date down to the month and year and the address down to the city

6. Testing date and address or the testing report the certificate is based on

The CPC is similar to the COC certificate, with clearly stated content and requirements. When listing children-related products on Amazon US, including toys and baby products, a CPC certificate is required. This certificate details the tests your product has passed and the regulatory standards it complies with. Different products require different tests, and only upon passing these tests will a CPC certificate be issued.
