All products that use frequencies to transmit or receive signals, as well as all communication products connected to the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN)or to the public network, must obtain IFETEL certification.

Marking Guidelines

On October 2, 2024, the Federal Telecommunications Institute of Mexico (IFETEL) approved amendments to the type certification guidelines and the IFT mark usage guidelines.
