Update time : 2025-11-04

en 61000 is an EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) testing standard for electronic and electrical products. emc testing evaluates the electromagnetic interference (EMI) a product emits and its resistance to external electromagnetic interference (EMS), which is one of the most critical indicators of product quality.

emc testing Items:

- Radiated Emission (>1GHz)

- Radiated Emission (<1GHz)

- Conducted Emission

- Power Clamp

- Harmonics (IEC61000-3-2)

- Voltage Flicker (IEC61000-3-3)

- Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) Test (iec61000-4-2)

- Surge Test (IEC61000-4-5)

- Voltage Dips Test (IEC61000-4-11)

- Electrical Fast Transient (EFT) Test (IEC61000-4-4)

- Radiated Susceptibility (R/S) Test (IEC61000-4-3)

- Conducted Susceptibility (C/S) Test (IEC61000-4-6)

- Power Frequency Magnetic Field (M/S) Test (IEC61000-4-8)

- Harmonics and Interharmonics Test (IEC61000-4-13)

EMS Testing Items:

1. Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) Test (IEC61000-4-2):

- Range of the ESD generator: ±0.2kV to ±30kV.

2. Radiated Susceptibility Test (IEC61000-4-3):

- Key parameters consideRED.

3. Electrical Fast Transient (EFT) Test (IEC61000-4-4):

- Test frequencies: 5kHz / 100kHz.

- Maximum test voltage: 4.0kV.

4. Surge Test (IEC61000-4-5):

- Current for test samples: Maximum input current of 16A.

- Maximum test voltage: ±6.4kV.

- Test waveform: 1.2/50µs.

5. Conducted Susceptibility Test (IEC61000-4-6):

- Key parameters considered.

6. Power Frequency Magnetic Field Test (IEC61000-4-8):

- Magnetic field strength at the center of the coil: 265 A/m.

7. Voltage Dips Test (IEC61000-4-11):

- Test voltage: Applicable only for AC 220-240V input products.
