Amazon Wireless Radio Frequency Certification Testing

Amazon is about to update the relevant requirements for radio frequency devices, and this update will affect some of the products that sellers currently offer or have previously provided.

Starting from the second quarter of 2021, whether creating new product listings for radio frequency devices or updating existing product listings, sellers must fill in the "fcc Radio Frequency Emission Compliance" attribute. In this attribute, sellers must operate according to one of the following requirements:

(1) Provide authorization from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), which can either be the FCC number or a conformity declaration issued by the supplier.

(2) Provide evidence that the product is not subject to the FCC device authorization requirements.

Testing Capabilities  

China JJR Laboratory can complete testing for conventional BT, WiFi, SRD low power, walkie-talkies, NB-IOT, GSM, GPRS, EDGE, CDMA, CDMA2000, WCDMA, TD-SCDMA, LTE, 5G NR, etc.

Sample Quantity  

At least three sets of samples are requiRED for testing: one set for fixed-frequency testing with an RF cable connection, one set for fixed-frequency radiation testing, and one set for normal testing to take photos, along with related auxiliary or peripheral devices, such as adapters, etc.

Testing Period  

Typically 3-4 weeks, with an expedited option available.
