Baby and Children's Products EU & US Certification Testing

Baby and children's products refer to any items designed to facilitate feeding, sitting, cleaning, hygiene, sleeping, transportation, movement, and protection of children. The main risk factors of these products include finger and limb entrapment hazards, head entrapment risks, insufficient product strength leading to falls, small parts posing choking hazards, strangULation risks, and cheMICal hazards.

 

We currently conduct testing for various baby and children's products, including cradles, baby changing tables, rockers and swings, and infant floor seats.

 

Testing Standards

United States:

- ASTM F2194 / CFR 1218 (Cradles)

- ASTM F2388 / 16 CFR Part 1235 (Baby Changing Tables)

- ASTM F2088 / 16 CFR 1223 (Rockers and Swings)

- ASTM F3317 (Infant Floor Seats)

- ASTM F2050 / 16 CFR Part 1225 (Infant Carriers)

- ASTM F2012 / 16 CFR Part 1238 (Children’s Stationary Activity Centers)

 

Europe:

- EN 12221-1/2 / BS EN 12221-1 & BS EN 12221-2 (Baby Changing Units)

 

Testing Items

Testing includes sharp points and edges, small parts, structural safety, flammability, heavy metal content, environmental testing, SVHC, cadmium, phthalates, CPC Certification, and more, depending on the product and applicable testing standards.
