For Bluetooth products to be exported and sold in the United States, fcc certification is requiRED. FCC is a mandatory certification in the United States. Products with Bluetooth functions, such as Bluetooth headsets, Bluetooth speakers, Bluetooth MICe and keyboards, Bluetooth game controllers, etc., all need to apply for fcc id.

Testing Standard: fcc part 15 Subpart C 2019, Section 15.247.

fcc id certification mainly includes the following parts:

(1) Finished Product Certification: Certification for complete wireless equipment, including modULes, motherboards, peripheral circuits, enclosures, etc.

(2) Module Certification: Module certification is further divided into two types:

① Restricted Module Certification

② Unrestricted Module Certification

Restricted wireless modules are limited in terms of host device types for installation, while unrestricted modules have no limitations on host devices and can operate as an independent system.

(3) PC I / PC II Certification: Two types of certification, namely Class I Change and Class II Change. These two change categories are generally applied to handle different modifications made to certified products during the certification process.
