       During bqb certification, customers often encounter problems when providing test samples and do not know what kind of samples to provide. Next, let's talk about the requirements for sample preparation in detail:


       The BQB certification test consists of two parts: RF test + profile test, so you need to prepare prototypes of both parts at the same time.


       1. RF prototype :


       First, the RF prototype needs to solder an SMA head RF cable from the Bluetooth antenna (as shown below), and disconnect the Bluetooth antenna on the original circuit board.

       1. If the prototype supports classic Bluetooth ( BR EDR ): the prototype needs to enter DUT mode. After entering DUT mode, the prototype can directly establish a connection with the Bluetooth tester ( MT8852/CBT32/CMW500, etc.) through the RF cable. In this state, the prototype can perform RF testing of classic Bluetooth.

       2. If the prototype supports Bluetooth Low Energy ( BLE ): You need to lead out the serial port lines ( TX, RX, GND, etc.) from the prototype and put the prototype into DTM mode. After entering DTM mode, the Bluetooth tester can connect to the prototype through serial ports such as HCI or UART . In this case, the prototype can perform BLE RF testing.

       Note: For a prototype that supports both classic Bluetooth and low-power Bluetooth, if the DUT mode and DTM mode cannot be implemented on the same prototype, samples of the two states need to be provided separately.


       2. Profile Prototype


       Profile prototypes need to provide normal application prototypes (bULk prototypes)


       1. For the classic Bluetooth prototype, turn on the Bluetooth function in the phone settings, search for the prototype Bluetooth name, and if pairing and connection are successful, it meets the requirements.


       2. For low-power Bluetooth prototypes, turn on the Bluetooth function in the phone settings and search for the prototype Bluetooth name. If you can find the Bluetooth, it meets the requirements.


       Note: If it is a set of prototypes and the two products can only be interconnected via Bluetooth, the prototype status needs to be adjusted to meet the above requirements.
