Cable ANATEL Certification in Brazil

ANATEL (National Telecommunications Agency) is the regulatory body in Brazil responsible for managing telecommunications and radio communication devices entering the Brazilian market. Its purpose is to regulate the use of the radio spectrum within Brazil, ensure the safety of users, prevent harmful interference to other surrounding devices, adapt to new technologies, and align with international standards.

 

Certification Process

Initialization Phase  

- Define scope  

- Determine testing items  

- Determine costs  

 

Execution Phase  

- Laboratory testing  

- Prepare documentation  

- Compliance evaluation (7 business days)  

 

Issuance of Certificate  

- Submit application to ANATEL  

- Issue ANATEL certificate (2-3 weeks)

 

Required Documents

1. Authorization letter (authorizing the representative to hold the certificate)  

2. ISO 9001:2015 certificate (translated into Portuguese)  

3. Product photos  

4. User manual and/or technical specification sheet  

5. Certificate of origin  

6. Test report  

7. Cybersecurity form  

8. Other relevant documents
