Views :
Update time : 2025-09-18

As global coffee consumption continues to rise, coffee machines, as high-potential export products, are attracting increasing attention from manufacturers and exporters. The European Union, being one of the most promising and strictly regULated markets worldwide, has become an important target for coffee machine exports.

Coffee Machine EU Export Compliance Certification(图1)

EU Regulations and Standards for Coffee Machines

1. low voltage directive (LVD, 2014/35/EU)

- Standard: EN 60335-1

- Focus: Temperature rise, leakage current, grounding protection, etc.

2. RoHS Directive (2011/65/EU)

- Focus: Restricts the use of 10 hazardous substances in electrical and electronic products.

3. reach regulation

- Focus: Screening of SVHC (Substances of Very High Concern) to identify hazardous cheMICals.

4. Food Contact Materials (FCM)

- Standards: EU 10/2011, EN 1186, etc.

- Focus: Safety of components in direct contact with food.

5. CE certification

- Purpose: Summarizes compliance with all applicable directives; serves as a passport for entering the EU market.
