Compliance for Portable Power Supplies on Amazon US & Canada

To continuously improve product compliance and safety, you must cooperate with third-party Testing, Inspection and Certification (TIC) service providers to conduct product testing on all notified ASINs or verify existing testing documents. This process replaces the practice where sellers submit testing documents directly to Amazon.

Amazon Portable Power Supply Policy

1. Power Banks

A power bank is a compact, portable rechargeable battery that can charge mobile devices such as mobile phones, tablets, and wireless headphones anytime, whether on the go or away from a standard power source.

2. Portable Power Stations

A portable power station is a device poweRED by a rechargeable battery, designed to charge and supply power to multiple electronic devices and small appliances. It typically provides both AC and DC power outputs. Certain models may also come with additional features, such as car jump-start function, built-in flashlight or floodlight, or solar charging input port. The primary function of these devices is to serve as a backup power source when standard power is unavailable.

Note: This policy does not apply to portable car jump starters.

Amazon Compliance Requirements

1. Product Detail Page

The product detail page must meet all of the following requirements:

2. Compliance Information

If verifying existing documents, you must submit the following information to the TIC service provider:

①　A test report issued within the past 12 months by a laboratory accredited to ISO 17025, proving that the product complies with the applicable regulations below:

②　For power banks: UL 2056, or IEC/UL/CSA 62368-1 and IEC/UL/CSA 62133-2, or IEC/UL/CSA 62368-1 and UL 2054

③　For portable outdoor power stations: UL 2743

④　un 38.3 test report

⑤　Battery Test Summary (BTS) to prove that the product meets the relevant requirements in UN 38.3
