RCM (Regulatory Compliance Mark) certification is a unified certification mark used in Australia and New Zealand for electrical products, indicating that the product meets relevant safety and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) requirements. Here is some basic information about the rcm certification timeline:

1. After obtaining safety certification (SAA certificate) and C-Tick/EMC reports:

- With the local valid responsible supplier information, it takes approximately 1 to 2 weeks to complete the registration process and obtain a unique identification number starting with "N."

- Then, uploading each report usually takes around 7 business days.

2. For general low-voltage products:

- The RCM certification process typically takes 5 to 7 business days.

3. Special cases:

- For wireless products, it is necessary to follow ACMA regulations and provide RF+EMC CE reports for conversion certification.

- Products involving high voltage require special evaluation.

The approximate RCM certification timeline is as follows:

1. Preparation Phase: Obtain the necessary safety certification (SAA certificate) and EMC reports.

2. Registration Phase: 1 to 2 weeks to complete the registration process and obtain the unique identification number starting with "N."

3. Report Upload Phase: About 7 business days.

4. Overall Timeline: For general low-voltage products, the certification process takes approximately 5 to 7 business days.

5. Special Products: The timeline for wireless products and other special cases may vary and require additional time for evaluation.

Please note that these timelines are for reference only and the actual duration may vary due to factors such as product characteristics, the efficiency of the certification body, and whether additional testing or document review is required. For the most accurate time estimate, it is recommended to consult directly with the certification body or a professional RCM certification service provider.
