Component Requirements:

- Lithium-ion cells: Must comply with ul 1642 or ul 62133-2.

- Fuse: Must comply with UL 248-14.

- Thermistor-type device: Must comply with UL 1434 or UL 60730-1.

- Thermal cut-out: Must comply with UL 60730-1.

- Adhesive: Must comply with UL 746C.

- Non-metallic housing: Must pass the 20mm (3/4 inch) Flame Test in UL 746C or meet a minimum V-1 rating according to ul 94.

- Positive temperature coefficient thermistor (PTC): Must comply with UL 60730-1, including the Manufacturing Deviation and Drift tests of Clause 15, Endurance tests of Clause 17, additional Manufacturing and Deviation tests of Clause J.15, and additional Endurance tests of Clause J.17, or UL 60730-1 for a device with Type 2.AL action.

Labeling Requirements:

1. Input voltage and current for each input port.

2. Output voltage and current for each output port, and the total parameters when all output ports are used simultaneously (if different from the sum of individual output port parameters).

3. Rated output capacity; if the output capacity differs for each port, the specific capacity for each port should be labeled.

4. Manufacturer's name, trademark, or other identification code.

5. Model name or other identifying name.

6. Manufacturing date or code.

7. The following or similar warning: "CAUTION: Risk of Fire and Burns. Do Not Open, Crush, Heat Above (manufacturer’s specified maximum temperature) or Incinerate. Follow Manufacturer’s Instructions."

8. For mobile power packs designed for use in luggage or backpacks, the label must specify "For use only with _____".

UL 2056 Testing Items:

- Insulation Resistance Test

- Electric Strength Test

- Housing Free Fall Test

- Housing Mold Stress Test

- Rated Capacity Test

- Specified Operating Region and Temperature Tests
