Due to the interruption of some funding from the U.S. federal government (the budget was not passed), the fcc suspended most operations from 12:00 a.m. (Eastern Time) on October 1, 2025. During the suspension period, the issuance of all fcc id certifications has been suspended.
The suspension is a force majeure event, and the specific time to resume operations depends on when the U.S. Congress passes a temporary appropriations bill. Once funding is restored, the FCC will gradually restore all services, but the backlog may take several weeks to process.
