What is India BIS certification?

BIS registration (BIS-CRS) is mainly aimed at the control of electrical safety of electronic and electrical products. Certification must be completed after passing the test of a local accREDited laboratory. Goods exported to India must pass BIS certification and be labeled accordingly before they can enter the Indian market.

1. The official website of BIS is www.bis.gov.in. The font size of the registration number shoULd be the same as that of the Standard Mark (Arial, not less than size 6).
