Documents RequiRED for Zigbee Functional Product FCC-ID Certification

1. Certification Application Form (Applicant's name, product name, model, parameters, address, phone, contact person, and their position)

2. Fixed-frequency software and method (for the transmission part, the fundamental frequency of transmission - preferably provide the frequency band used)

3. Applicant's FCC Registration Number (FRN)

4. fcc id including Grantee Code company code (3 alphanumeric characters or digits), and product code (1-14 alphanumeric characters or digits)

5. FCC label location and specifications

6. Operation description (simple working principle, functional description)

7. Schematic diagram

8. Circuit diagram

9. Hardware version information and software version information

10. Simple user instructions (the user manual should include: fixed FCC-ID warning language, which can be provided by the certification company during processing)

11. Authorization letter (signed by a local company in the United States)

 

FCC-ID Certification Process

1. The applicant submits the application form (provided by the testing company);

2. The applicant signs a commissioning test contract with the testing company;

3. Send samples to the laboratory for testing;

4. After passing the test, the laboratory will submit the application materials to the FCC-authorized certification agency for review. Upon approval, the agency will issue the certificate;

5. After obtaining the FCC-ID certification, the enterprise requests to add the fcc id number to the product.
