Recently, Amazon US released an important new regulation: product compliance for certain categories must undergo Direct Validation by Testing, Inspection and Certification (TIC) agencies recognized by Amazon. This means that for any category involving the TIC Direct Validation process, the traditional method of sellers uploading compliance reports themselves will no longer be accepted. Sellers need to optimize and adjust their relevant compliance processes as soon as possible.
TIC Direct Validation (DV) is an efficient and reliable compliance validation mechanism launched by Amazon, aiming to assist sellers in completing product compliance requirements more conveniently. Through this process, sellers can directly cooperate with Amazon-recognized Testing, Inspection and Certification (TIC) agencies to conduct product testing and validation, or verify existing test reports, and directly transmit the compliance results to the Amazon system.
The main benefit of Direct Validation (DV) is the improvement of product safety and compliance. Different from traditional validation, it is specifically reflected in:
Products in certain specific categories are mandatorily required to pass compliance testing or certification through TIC agencies, or have their existing test reports reviewed and validated by these agencies.
The test and validation results will be directly submitted to Amazon by the TIC agencies, no longer passing through sellers as intermediaries.
Sellers can no longer upload compliance documents themselves.
Judging from current implementation, the scope of impact of the new regulation is mainly concentrated on the US site. The covered categories and Amazon sites include:

In recent years, with the increasingly strict safety standards for children's toys in the EU market, EN71 testing has become the "admission ticket" for toy export enterprises.
1.Check the notification and create a TRF (Test Request Form)
When you receive the "Direct Validation" notification in Seller Central, follow the prompts to create the validation process. The system will generate a unique TRF number. Please be sure to save this number securely, as it is your credential to connect with our agency.
2.Choose a testing agency recognized by Amazon and TIC agencies to process the test report
Choose a testing agency recognized by Amazon and TIC agencies to process the test report. JJR can provide customers with fully qualified test reports, and we can send our qualification certificates to customers for review. For general toys in the EU, process the CE-EN71 Test Report; in the UK, process the ukca-EN71 test report; if it is an electric toy, additionally process an EN62115 test report for electric toys.
3.Submit to the TIC agency for validation and wait for the validation results.
Prepare the validation materials and submit them together with the test report to the TIC agency for review. After the validation is passed, the "Pass" result will be directly submitted to the Amazon system, and you do not need to take any extra actions. You can check the validation status in the seller backend; once it shows as passed, your goods can be sold normally or resume selling.
