A baby playpen is a non-inflatable standalone product with sides made of textiles or other soft materials, secuRED to the floor to create an enclosed play area for children. It is designed to protect infants from injury during exploration. The main function of a baby playpen is to prevent babies from leaving the safety zone when unattended, thus avoiding accidents such as falls or collisions.

Amazon Canada Playpen Standards: SOR/2018-83 + SOR/2016-188 + SOR/2016-193 + SOR/2018-186

Baby playpens are specifically designed for infants as a play and safety device. The Canada Consumer Product Safety Act (CCPSA) is established to ensure the safety of all consumer products sold in the Canadian market.
