Lithium-battery household appliances refer to household equipment powered by rechargeable batteries, including Lithium-Ion (Li-Ion) rechargeable batteries, Lithium Polymer (LiPo) rechargeable batteries, and Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) rechargeable batteries.
This includes: vacuum cleaners, floor washers, floor scrubbers, floor steam cleaners, blenders, mixers, juicers, food processors, slicers, meat grinders, grinders, electric knives, milk frothers, salt and pepper grinders, air purifiers, humidifiers, dehumidifiers, desk fans, garage fans, camping fans, patio fans, curling brushes, curling irons, hair straighteners, and hair dryers.
This policy does not include: appliances powered by Nickel-Metal Hydride (NiMH) and Nickel-Cadmium (NiCd) batteries, appliances powered by non-rechargeable batteries, AC-powered appliances, heavy-duty commercial appliances, power tools, gardening and lawn care products, smart digital devices (such as mobile phones, tablets, music players, and speakers), as well as small household appliances (such as clocks, remote controls, timers, body scales, and food scales).

Enhanced Compliance:
Products must comply with product classification policies that have enhanced compliance requirements.
A Certificate of Insurance (COI) must be submitted through Commercial Insurance Verification on Seller Central.
You must partner with an authorized third-party Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) service provider capable of direct product verification to verify all notified ASINs.
If you have existing documents: Submit them to an Amazon-authorized TIC service provider. They will review these documents and determine if they comply with Amazon's policy guidelines.
If you do not have existing documents, or require new product testing: Send your products to a TIC service provider. They will test them according to applicable standards.
