Update time : 2026-02-20

Recently, Amazon Europe has officially included portable power supplies (including functional products such as jump starters) in the Testing, Inspection and Certification (TIC) audit programme. Seller self-submitted test documents have been eliminated, and Direct Validation by designated third parties is fULly implemented. All existing and newly listed portable power supplies must pass inspection/validation by authorised bodies before they can be sold!

This requirement applies to multiple European marketplaces, including the UK, Ireland, Germany, France, Italy, Belgium, Spain, Sweden, Poland and the Netherlands. Regulated products must pass compliance review by 15 March 2026, otherwise they will be removed by the platform.

How Sellers Can Achieve Compliance

Organise Products and Prioritise Key Items

Sort out portable power supply ASINs in your store, clarify product types and compliance standards. Prioritise ASINs that have received test requests in Account Health to avoid removal due to overdue compliance.

Prepare Complete Documentation to Ensure Compliance

Compile compliance documents for each ASIN: core reports must be issued by an ISO 17025-accredited body and valid within 12 months. Prepare UN 38.3 reports, BTS documents and compliance graphics/text descriptions.

Take Initiative on Compliance to Mitigate Risks
