Remarks

1. All materials and coatings in accessible areas must undergo toxicity testing.

2. EN 716-1 & 2 apply to baby cribs with an internal length between 900mm and 1400mm and an internal height of at least 600mm.

Relevant Products

This European standard specifies the safety requirements for children's cots with an internal length of more than 900mm but not exceeding 1400mm for domestic use. These requirements apply to fully assembled and ready-to-use cots. Additional requirements may apply to convertible cots, such as those that can be transformed into other items, playpens, or other multifunctional units. This European standard does not apply to cribs, bassinets, or rocking cradles coveRED by separate European standards.
