Applicable Products:

1.1 This consumer safety performance specification establishes safety performance requirements, test methods, and labeling requirements to minimize known hazards identified in the introduction related to infant bedding and related accessories.

1.2 Infant bedding and related accessories include the following items intended for use in nurseries: fitted sheets, blankets, dust ruffles, canopies and drapes, pillows, mattress covers, diaper stackers, fabric wall hangings, crib bumpers/liners, and quilts.

1.3 Any infant bedding or related accessories manufactured after the approval date of this consumer safety performance specification shall not be labeled or otherwise indicated as complying with this specification unless it meets all applicable requirements contained herein.
