FCC Certification

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is an independent agency of the U.S. government that regulates the standards for electronic devices' radiation emissions. Almost all products that emit radio frequency energy must undergo testing by an FCC-listed or accredited lab and obtain FCC certification for EMC/telecom compliance.

JJR Lab is an FCC-approved testing lab with extensive experience in radio and wireless certification for the North American market. Partnering with labs that have deep industry expertise and broad technical knowledge can help you avoid common errors that may delay certification.

It is worth noting that the list above is not exhaustive, and FCC certification requirements may vary depending on the specific characteristics and functions of the device. If the device emits RF radiation or uses wireless technology, it is advisable for manufacturers or importers to consult the FCC or a qualified testing laboratory to determine whether FCC certification is required for their specific product.
