fcc part 18, that is, Part 18 of the US FCC certification 47CFR, FCC Part 18 is the electromagnetic interference standard (conducted interference, radiated interference) for Industrial, Scientific and Medical Equipment (ISM) radio frequency equipment industrial, scientific and medical equipment. This regulation stipulates the electromagnetic energy emitted by industrial, scientific and medical equipment (ISM) to prevent the above equipment from causing harmful interference to authorized wireless communication services.

Products applicable to FCC Part 18 - Industrial, Scientific and Medical (ISM) Equipment:

Equipment or appliances designed to generate and use local radio frequency energy for industrial, scientific, medical, domestic or similar purposes, excluding applications in the field of telecommunications. Typical ISM applications are physical, biological or chemical effects such as heating, gas ionization, mechanical vibration, hair removal and charged particle acceleration. ISM equipment includes: industrial heating equipment (such as radio frequency welders, radio frequency lighting equipment), medical diathermy equipment, ultrasonic equipment, consumer ISM equipment (such as household microwave ovens, household jewelry cleaners, ultrasonic humidifiers), magnetic resonance equipment, etc. (Note: The FCC certification method for products in Part 18 is fcc id)

RE radiated emission limits for ISM equipment:

ISM equipment is allowed to radiate unlimited energy in the above dedicated frequency bands; outside the dedicated frequency bands, the limits in the following table apply

For radio frequency lighting equipment, the RE radiation limits are as follows:
