Guide to Export Certification for Robotic Vacuum Cleaners

Robotic vacuum cleaners generally support 2.4G WiFi and Bluetooth technology.

The following introduction is based on this assumption.

Certification Requirements in China

1. ccc certification:

a. Required Standards:

GB 17625.1-2022

GB 4343.1-2018

GB 4706.1-2005

GB 4706.7-2014

b. Notes: Key components must be certified, including adapters, PCBs, casings, internal and external wiring, transformers, cooling fans, batteries, etc.

After certification, a factory audit is required, along with annual follow-up audits.

c. Certification Information Inquiry: The query website varies depending on the issuing authority. If issued by CQC, it can be checked at:

2. srrc certification (Not required for wired products):

a. Required Standard: MIIT [2021] No. 129

b. Notes: CCC certification requires only two complete units, but SRRC certification requires processing the test samples:

- Bluetooth/WiFi requires 1 complete unit + 5 conducted frequency-fixed samples (with RF cable connections) and tools/methods for entering the Bluetooth/WiFi test mode.

- Bluetooth devices must provide Bluetooth version, antenna gain, and RF cable loss.

- WiFi devices must provide specific supported modes, antenna gain, and RF cable loss.

3. For Taiwan, NCC certification is required (not required for wired products):

- NCC Certification: Testing must be conducted in a laboratory in Taiwan. Preliminary testing can be done at the JJR laboratory in China. If the test passes, samples are sent to Taiwan for official testing and certification.

Conducted and radiated samples for the corresponding wireless mode

- Notes: If there is a need for certificate conversion later, country-specific testing may be required. It is best to confirm with the laboratory in advance. If certification transfer to Indonesia is needed, the CE certification must come from an SDPPI-recognized laboratory in Indonesia; otherwise, SDPPI will not accept the report. Our company is an SDPPI-recognized laboratory and can process certification via JJR China.
