Applicable Product Scope of ul 507 Standard for Electric Fans:

b) Fans and blowers for ventilation, such as attic fans, wall-mounted fans, ceiling insert fans, household range hoods, canopy-type fans and window fans;

c) Dryer-type fans used for drying carpets or floors;

d) Evaporative coolers;

e) Air filtration equipment;

f) Fan-type deodorizers and air fresheners;

g) Component fans;

h) Low-voltage component fans.

At present, except that the LVD test for high-voltage products requires test reports issued by 14 major authorized organizations, qualified reports issued by other laboratories accredited with ISO 17025 / ILAC ISO 17025 standards are acceptable.
