Introduction to Brazil ANATEL Radio Certification

According to Brazil’s National Telecommunications Agency Resolution No. 715/2019 (Resolução nº 715/2019)and its associated regULations, all telecommunications products must obtain anatel certificationto be legally commercialized and used in Brazil. ANATEL certification requires product labels to meet relevant standards and submission of certification documents issued by Brazil’s National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel).

Qualification Document Precautions

1. Product Label Requirements

①　The label must include the Anatel approval mark, and the number within the approval mark must be consistent with the number on the qualification document.

2. Certification Document Requirements

a. The qualification document must be issued by Brazil’s National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel)to prove that the product complies with relevant regulations and technical standards.

b. The information in the qualification document should be verifiable in the official Anatel database. Sellers must ensure the submitted information matches the data found in the database.

The certification document should include but is not limited to the following information:

②　Certification Number: Nº XXXXX-XX-XXXXX

③　Applicant

④　Manufacturer

⑤　Equipment Type

⑥　Model Number

⑦　Basic Technical Specifications
