Introduction to Japan TELEC Certification for Radio Products

TELEC (Telecom Engineering Center) is the radio equipment technical certification body designated by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications of Japan. It is responsible for conformity assessment of radio products. All radio equipment sold in Japan must obtain telec certification or an equivalent Japanese radio complianCE certification.

Qualification Document Precautions

The qualification document should be a Japanese radio equipment type certification certificate issued by one of the certification bodies listed in the Registered Certification Bodies List. It must have obtained the technical standard conformity number and should include, but is not limited to, the following information:

1. Technical Standard Conformity Number

2. Product Information: Name, Model, etc.

3. Manufacturer Information

4. Other Relevant Information
