Excessive optical radiation can cause harm to the human body, mainly manifesting in the eyes and skin. Examples include photochemical hazards to the skin and eyes, near-ultraviolet hazards to the eyes, retinal blue-light photochemical hazards, retinal aphakic photochemical hazards, retinal thermal hazards, and skin hazards. Among these two parts of the body, the eyes are more vulnerable to damage.
