What are the CE-EMC testing standards for mobile phone chargers?

Views :
Update time : 2024-07-08

The following conditions apply to CE-emc testing standards for mobile phone chargers:

1. The device is poweRED by a charger using a MICro-B USB plug cable.

2. The charging voltage is 5V ± 5%.

3. The maximum output current is limited to 500 to 1500mA.

4. The power supply of the EPS must comply with the relevant requirements of en 60950-1: Safety of Information Technology Equipment.

For CE certification of chargers, the EPS test must meet the following conditions:

1. When testing the EPS, its DC output port must be connected to a simULated load that represents its connected device.

2. During testing, avoid interference from the RF signals of the testing equipment with the test results.

3. During testing, the EPS must use a Micro-B port USB cable. Its model and length must be recorded in the report.

For CE certification, chargers need to undergo EMC disturbance tests:

1. Radiated disturbance test.

2. Conducted disturbance test.

3. Harmonic current test.

4. Voltage fluctuation and flicker test.

EMC immunity tests include:

1. Radiated immunity.

2. Electrostatic discharge immunity.

3. Electrical fast transient burst immunity.

4. Conducted immunity.

5. Voltage dips and short interruptions immunity.

6. Surge immunity.

China JJR Laboratory provides EMC testing services related to CE certification for mobile phone chargers, including radiated disturbance, electrostatic discharge, surge, and other tests. They can help you save 20% on testing costs.
