- Electrical Safety Standards: Includes SNI IEC 60950 (similar to IEC 60950 for IT equipment) and SNI iec 60335 (similar to IEC 60335 for household appliances).

- Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Standards: SNI IEC 61000 regULates radiation and interference requirements for electrical equipment.

- Energy Efficiency and Environmental Standards: SNI 6399 covers energy efficiency, and SNI 7060 addresses restrictions on hazardous substances in electronic products.

Testing Requirements: Tests include electrical safety (e.g., insulation, voltage withstand, leakage current), mechanical safety (e.g., structural stability), EMC tests (e.g., radiation, interference), and energy efficiency/environmental tests (e.g., efficiency and materials testing).

K3L Certification:

Certification Process: After product testing, importers must submit an application through the government's electronic licensing system to obtain the K3L number. The number must be displayed on packaging and labels before sale. The K3L certification number is valid for five years and must be renewed with updated product registration data every five years.
