• Platform Verification Process: In recent years, direct verification (TIC/DV) has been gradually promoted for children's toys — partial reviews are completed by third-party testing, inspection, and certification institutions recognized by Amazon, and the results are directly transmitted to the seller's backend "Manage Your Compliance (MYC)". It is no longer acceptable for sellers to simply upload reports arbitrarily.

Practical Reminder: Toys for ages 12 and under are the most strictly regulated; for ages 0–3, the strictest aspects are small parts, chemical migration, and tracking labels, which are high-frequency reasons for rejection. Even if you write "3+", as long as the detail page uses cartoons, child models, or infant scenes, it may be reclassified as a children's toy.

US Amazon Toy Compliance

• Mandatory Basis: CPSIA + ASTM F963 (currently usually according to F963-23 / latest effective version) + 16 CFR Small Parts / Total Lead / Phthalates, etc.;

• Children's Product Certificate (CPC): Self-issued by US importers / domestic manufacturers based on reports from CPSC-accepted laboratories, not "issued" by the laboratory; mandatory fields include product name, model, age, standards, factory, US representative, laboratory, batch, and report number;

• Tracking Label: The product itself + outer packaging must permanently mark the factory name / importer, origin, production date, and batch; printing only on the packaging often leads to rejections;

• Chemical Limits: Total lead in substrate ≤ 100ppm, total lead in surface coating ≤ 90ppm, phthalates usually according to the CPSIA restricted list (commonly 6P/8P each ≤ 0.1%, subject to the applicable rules for that batch);
