Recently, a large number of Amazon sellers have received compliance notifications for TIC Direct Verification (DV) in their Seller Central—this is a brand-new review mechanism implemented by Amazon for high-risk products starting in 2026.
JJR LAB has compiled the most comprehensive list of DV product categories and core compliance requirements for 2026. We recommend saving this for future reference.
TIC is the abbreviation for Testing, Inspection, and Certification.
In the past, sellers could upload third-party test reports on their own; under the new regulations, sellers can no longer upload them themselves. Instead, verification results must be submitted directly to the platform by an Amazon-approved TIC organization.
This "direct submission by organizations" mechanism fundamentally eliminates fake reports, which also means—only TIC organizations approved by Amazon are qualified to help sellers complete compliance verification.
