Children's Toys Amazon Direct Validation (DV) Solution

Recently, Amazon US released an important new regULation: for certain product categories, compliance must go through Amazon-recognized Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) organizations for Direct Validation (DV).

The traditional method of "sellers uploading compliance reports themselves" will no longer apply.

Sellers need to optimize their compliance process in time to ensure their products meet platform requirements.

When products trigger TIC Validation requirements, sellers should follow these steps:

If you already have an ISO17025 certified test report:

1. Amazon sellers can consult a TIC organization for evaluation.

2. Provide the TIC with the test report, user/service manual, product labels/markings, and pay the requiRED fees.

3. The compliance documents will be reviewed, and a validation report will be issued.

4. Results:

 - A) Pass:The TIC organization will directly upload your compliance results to Amazon.

 - B) Fail:Rectification will be required, including:

 1. Document corrections

 2. Sending product samples for verification

 3. Supplementary testing

 Once compliant, the TIC will directly upload the results to Amazon.

5. After Amazon’s review, the seller completes the compliance process, and the product can be sold normally.

If you do NOT have a test report:

1. Amazon sellers can consult a TIC organization for evaluation.

2. Sellers must send samples to the TIC, provide the user/service manual, product labels/markings, and pay the required fees.

3. Product testing + document review will be conducted, and a (JJR LAB) test report + validation report will be issued.

4. Results:

 - A) Pass:The TIC organization will directly upload your compliance results to Amazon.

 - B) Fail:Rectification of the product/documents will be required. Once compliant, the TIC will directly upload the results to Amazon.

5. After Amazon’s review, the seller completes the compliance process, and the product can be sold normally.
