A stovetop kettle boils water using the heat from a stove. An electric kettle heats water to the boiling point by passing an electric current through a coil (also known as a heating element). Among these, some types of kettles use a thermostat that can automatically cut off the power to the kettle when the appropriate water temperature is reached.

This policy applies to any product that heats water in equipment that may contain lead, such as percolator coffee pots, stovetop espresso makers, and moka pots that are not explicitly labeled as "kettles."

1. Detail Page Requirements

Your product detail page must contain the following information:

• Model number, part number, or item number

• Manufacturer or private label owner (distributor) name

2. Document Requirements

You must submit the following documents:

• A test report issued by an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory, proving that the product complies with the above regulations, standards, and requirements.

• The test report must include pictures of the product to prove that the tested product is exactly the same as the product listed on the product detail page.

3. Image Requirements

You must submit clear and legible product images, which should contain the following information:

• Product labels, relevant safety information, compliance marks, hazard warnings, and all sides of the product or product packaging.

• The images must prove that the product is the same as the tested product and the product listed on the product detail page.

• Product instructions, manuals, safety information, labels, and warnings must be in bilingual format (English and French).

• Model number, part number, or item number.

• Manufacturer or private label owner (distributor) name and address.

• Product instructions and manuals.
