In order to regulate the EMC of electronic products, developed countries and some developing countries have jointly established EMC standards. What is EMC Testing?

EMC testing, also known as electromagnetic compatibility testing, refers to a comprehensive assessment of an electronic product's electromagnetic interference (EMI) and electromagnetic susceptibility (EMS). It is one of the most important quality indicators for a product. The EMC measurement is conducted through test facilities and instruments.

The purpose of EMC testing is to detect the electromagnetic radiation generated by electrical products and its effects on humans, public power grids, and other normal working electrical products. EMC testing is divided into two major categories:

- Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) Testing: Testing the emission of interference from electronic product systems to other devices and electromagnetic space.

- Electromagnetic Susceptibility (EMS) Testing: Testing the ability of electronic devices to resist electromagnetic interference from the surrounding environment.

Why is EMC Testing Necessary?

1. Product certification requirements: EMC certification is required for CCC, CE, FCC, UL product certifications, and corresponding emc certificates must be obtained.
