What is en 50155 Testing? 

Trains are often subjected to prolonged vibrations, leading to unstable voltage, and must adapt to various environmental factors such as temperature, humidity, shocks, vibrations, electromagnetic interference, surges, and electrical performance variations. To address this, the European Union developed the EN 50155 testing standard for electronic products used in railway applications. The EN 50155 standard applies to all control electronic equipment installed on railway rolling stock, comprehensively considering the operational environment of rail vehicles. It emphasizes evaluating whether electronic devices can function normally under harsh conditions in railway environments. This standard has been adopted by many countries, including those in Europe, and is recognized by major rail transit system operators worldwide.
