What is a Fascia Gun?

A fascia gun, also known as a deep tissue percussion massager, is a soft tissue recovery tool. It uses high-speed vibrations to target tense areas, relax muscle soft tissue, prevent fascia adhesion, relieve stiffness, improve blood circULation, and accelerate muscle recovery from fatigue and soreness.

Recently, many fascia guns and massagers listed on Amazon and TEMU have been removed due to platform requirements for a ul 1647 test report. The report must be issued by an ISO 17025-accREDited laboratory.

Scope of Application:

1. UL 1647 applies to electric massagers and fitness equipment, including vibrating massagers, exercise bikes, vibration chairs, and massage chairs.

2. These requirements also apply to electric massagers and fitness equipment where the movement of working components is powered by an electrical device.

3. These requirements do not apply to appliances with a rated voltage exceeding 250V.

4. If a product has features, characteristics, components, materials, or systems not covered by this safety standard, and these aspects may cause fire, electric shock, or other hazards, additional tests should be conducted to meet the standard’s intent. If these characteristics are proven reasonable, the standard should be revised accordingly, incorporating suitable test methods.

1. Leakage current test; post-moisture leakage current test; inrush current test

2. Input test; temperature test; dielectric strength test

3. Switch and control test; power cord tension test; bending test

4. Normal operation test; abnormal operation test

UL 1647 Test Report Application Process:

1. Confirm the test standard and send two product samples.

2. Fill out the application form (including company and product details).

3. Sign the quotation contract, stamp, and complete payment.

4. The laboratory will begin testing upon receiving the samples (standard processing time: 5–7 business days, expedited service available).

5. After passing the test, a draft report will be provided for confirmation.

6. The final report is issued to assist customers in uploading for platform approval.

Amazon’s product inspection is conducted by automated bots. If flagged for review, sellers must provide a UL 1647 test report issued by an ISO 17025-accredited lab.
