SNI (Standar Nasional Indonesia) Certification is Indonesia’s national standard certification managed by BSN (Badan Standadisasi Nasional). The certificate is valid for four years and requires annual audits.

K3L stands for Security, Safety, Health, and Environment. It is a mandatory product registration without factory audit. Each model gets a single certificate valid for 5 years. Registered products receive a K3L number which must be labeled on the product before sale.
Applies to household electrical/electronic devices and textiles to ensure they pose no harm to users or the environment.

"MKG" stands for Manual dan Kartu Garansi(Manual and Warranty Card). It ensures consumers are provided with clear, honest, and understandable product information. All electronic and telecommunication products must include Indonesian-language manuals and warranty cards before sale.
As per Trade Minister Regulation No. 26/2021, 74 product types require MKG registration. These include:
1. Home Appliances:Refrigerators, air conditioners, washing machines, microwaves, rice cookers, ovens, vacuum cleaners, irons, coffee makers, kettles, juicers, fans, hair dryers, water dispensers.
2. Audio-Visual Devices:DVD/VCD players, home theater amplifiers, TVs, audio systems, projectors, digital antennas, CCTV.
3. Office Equipment:Printers, copiers, fax machines, shredders, scanners, electronic keyboards, calculators, intercoms.
4. Personal Care Products:Electric shavers, massagers, breast pumps, straighteners, electric toothbrushes, baby bottle sterilizers.
5. Telecom & IT Devices:Mobile phones, tablets, laptops, routers, UPS, GPS devices, digital cameras, gaming consoles.
6. Industrial Equipment:Water pumps, air coolers, electric boilers, generators, welding equipment, cutting machines.

SKEM (Standar Kinerja Energi Minimumor Minimum Energy Performance Standard) limits the maximum energy consumption of products under defined conditions to meet Indonesian standards.
1. Rice Cookers:Capacity ≤ 3L (excluding pressure cookers), Max input ≤ 250V AC
2. Refrigerators:Capacity ≤ 300L, Voltage ≤ 250V
3. Fans:Blade diameter 150–600mm (excluding ceiling/exhaust fans)
4. Air Conditioners:Wall-mounted split type, cooling capacity ≤ 27,000 BTU/h
5. Lighting:Self-ballasted LED lamps must have ≥ 80 lm/W, lifespan ≥ 15,000 hours
6. Televisions:Screen size ≤ 60 inches
1. Labels must be affixed to both the product and its packaging, containing energy grade information.
2. After issuance, proof of labeling must be submitted to the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources within 5 working days.

1. Certificate valid for 4 years; renewable once.
2. Any technical changes affecting energy performance void the certificate.
3. Energy label must be affixed in the country of origin.
4. Quarterly reports must be submitted to the ministry.
DJID is the Directorate General of Digital Infrastructure (formerly SDPPI). As of January 20, 2025, all certification logos and codes have been updated accordingly. DJID certification is mandatory for wireless and telecom products entering the Indonesian market to ensure compatibility and avoid interference.
Applies to all wireless-capable devices using Bluetooth, WLAN, NFC/SRD, GSM, WCDMA, LTE, 5G, etc. Examples: Smartphones, laptops, TVs, wireless speakers, Wi-Fi routers, TWS earbuds.
