What is ISO 17025 Certification?

ISO 17025 is the international standard for General Requirements for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories.

It is an authoritative recognition of a laboratory’s technical and management capabilities, proving that the laboratory can deliver accurate and reliable test data.

Reports issued by laboratories with this certification enjoy high credibility and mutual recognition worldwide.

JJR LAB

JJR LAB is a professional testing laboratory accredited with CMA (China Metrology Accreditation) and CNAS (China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment).

Core Standards for the EU Market

① CE certification: Mandatory certification, covering low voltage directive (LVD), Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive (EMC), Radio Equipment Directive (RED), etc.

② ROHS certification: Restriction of hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment, including 10 substances such as lead, cadmium, mercury, hexavalent chromium, etc.

③ reach regulation: Controls chemical substances included in the Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) Candidate List.

④ WEEE Directive: Requires products to be marked with recycling symbols and participate in e-waste recycling programs.

⑤ EN Standards Series: Such as EN 61000 series (EMC), en 55032 (Radiated Emission), EN 55035 (Immunity), etc.

Core Standards for the US Market

① FCC Certification: Issued by the Federal Communications Commission, ensuring compliance of wireless communication equipment.

② UL certification: Safety certification provided by Underwriters Laboratories, evaluating the safety performance of electrical and electronic products.

③ California Proposition 65: List-based regulation of substances known to cause cancer or reproductive toxicity.

④ Energy Star Certification: Energy-saving certification that enhances product competitiveness.

⑤ ASTM F963: Toy safety standard covering physical, mechanical, chemical and flammability safety requirements.

Test Items

Testing and certification of wireless products is a critical process to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, and to guarantee performance, safety and reliability.

The main test items include:

1. Radio Frequency (RF) Performance Test

① Transmit power measurement and power spectral density analysis

② Frequency range verification and frequency stability test

③ Modulation characteristic inspection and modulation accuracy evaluation

④ Spectrum mask test and occupied bandwidth measurement

⑤ Adjacent Channel Leakage Ratio (ACLR) and Spectrum Emission Mask (SEM) test

2. Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Test

① Radiated Emission Test: Measures electromagnetic radiation generated by the equipment

② Conducted Emission Test: Checks electromagnetic interference conducted through power or signal lines

③ Immunity Test: Including Electrostatic Discharge (ESD), Electrical Fast Transient (EFT), Surge, RF field interference, etc.

3. Safety Test

① Electrical Safety Test: Insulation resistance, withstand voltage test, leakage current, etc.

② Battery Safety Test: Overcharge, over-discharge, short circuit, high temperature, etc.

③ sar test (Specific Absorption Rate): Measures the impact of RF radiation on the human body

4. Wireless Protocol Conformance Test

① Bluetooth Certification (BQB): Ensures compliance with Bluetooth SIG standards

② Wi-Fi Certification: Ensures compliance with Wi-Fi Alliance standards

③ Cellular Network Certification: Such as LTE, 5G, etc., ensuring compliance with 3GPP standards

5. Environmental Adaptability Test

① High and low temperature test and humidity test

② Water and dust proof test (IP Rating Certification)

③ Shock and vibration resistance test

These test items ensure that wireless products meet the stringent requirements of major global markets in terms of performance, safety and compliance, providing technical support for the smooth launch of products.
