ITE (Information Technology Equipment)

ITE refers to equipment whose main function is the input, storage, display, retrieval, transmission, processing, exchange, or control of data and telecommunication messages (or combinations of these).

 

1. May have one or more terminal ports for information transmission

2. Rated voltage does not exceed 600V

emi test Items:

1. Power line conducted emission: 0.15–300 MHz (EN55022)

2. Telecom port conducted emission: 0.15–300 MHz (EN55022)

3. Radiated emission: 300 Hz–66 GHz (EN55022)

 

Radiated emission measurement frequency based on highest internal frequency:

1. ≤ 108 MHz: test up to 1 GHz

2. 108–500 MHz: test up to 2 GHz

3. 500 MHz–1 GHz: test up to 5 GHz

4. > 1 GHz: test up to 5× highest frequency or 66 GHz, whichever is lower

 

Harmonic Current (EN61000-3-2):

1. AC220–240V

2. Required for equipment >75W

3. No limit and no test for equipment ≤75W

 

Voltage Fluctuation and Flicker (EN61000-3-3):

1. AC220–240V

2. Pst ≤ 1.0

3. Plt ≤ 0.65

EMS Test Items:

1. Electrostatic discharge: ±4kV contact, ±8kV air (Performance A)

2. Radiated susceptibility: 80 MHz–1 GHz (Performance A)

3. Electrical fast transient: 1kV AC power, 0.5kV DC power, 0.5kV signal/telecom (Performance B)

4. Surge: 1kV line-line, 2kV line-earth (AC); 0.5kV (DC); telecom 1kV or 4kV depending on protection (Performance B)

5. Conducted susceptibility, magnetic field, voltage dips: as per EN55024

 

EMS Performance Criteria:

A: Operates normally during disturbance

B: Temporary degradation allowed, recovers automatically

C: Function loss allowed, recoverable, no loss of non-volatile data

Test Items:
