EMC Testing for Medical Electrical Equipment

The establishment of specific electromagnetic compatibility standards for medical electrical equipment and medical electrical systems has become a widely recognized necessity; particularly in the context of electromagnetic emissions, which are crucial for protecting safety operations, other medical devices or systems, and radio communication. Moreover, standards for electromagnetic immunity are essential to ensuring the safety of medical electrical equipment and systems; manufacturers, stakeholders, and operators share responsibility for ensuring that medical electrical equipment and systems are designed and operated as intended. Based on this, the International Electrotechnical Commission has issued the standard for medical electrical equipment - Electromagnetic Compatibility Requirements and Test Standards IEC 60601-1-2.

Testing Capabilities
