What are the test items for the IEC62619 test report? You can contact China JJR Testing Laboratory for details. Batteries and battery packs that comply with the IEC 62619 standard mainly include the following equipment:

- Stationary: Telecommunication base stations, Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), energy storage systems, emergency power supplies, and similar applications.

- Motive: Forklifts, golf carts, Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV), rail and maritime use. (Excluding road vehicles)

1. External short circuit test (cell or cell pack)

2. Impact test (cell or cell pack)

3. Drop test (cell or cell pack, and battery system)

4. Thermal abuse test (cell or cell pack)

5. Overcharge test (cell or cell pack)

6. Forced discharge test (cell or cell pack)

7. Internal short circuit test (cell)

8. Thermal propagation test (battery system)

9. Battery system safety (considering functional safety)

10. Battery Management System (BMS) or Battery Management Unit (BMU)

11. Overvoltage control (battery system)

12. Overcurrent control (battery system)

13. Overheat control (battery system)

 

Samples RequiRED for IEC 62619 Standard

- Cells with IEC 62619 certification: 4 battery samples

- Cells without IEC 62619 certification: 4 battery samples + 26 cell samples

1. Non-technical documents: Application form

2. Trademark authorization statement; Trademark declaration

3. Technical documents; Differences in various models, if any

4. Nameplate; Specifications; English user manual or installation manual

5. Key parameters confirmation form; Circuit diagrams/schematics

6. Printed Circuit Board (PCB) layout (trace layer and component layer)

7. cb certificate + report for the cell; List of structural materials (important component list)

8. Detailed parts list

9. Copies of important component certificates (e.g., VDE certificate, UL certificate, etc.); Specifications for protective components such as ICs and MOSFETs

10. ISO 9001 certificate; Functional safety-related documents
