On October 29, 2025, the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) of Thailand issued an announcement requiring all suppliers (including importers, distributors, etc.) involved in Wireless Network Video Recorders (Wireless NVRs) to provide a Supplier’s Declaration of Conformity (sdoc).

SDoC (Supplier’s Declaration of Conformity) is a certification document issued to the public by device suppliers after verifying that their equipment complies with specified standards or requirements.
① Although the relevant regULations themselves have not been updated, NBTC stated that multiple cases of unauthorized import of Wireless NVRs without SDoC have been detected recently.
② More seriously, some devices use unapproved frequencies, causing significant interference to Thailand’s 2600MHz mobile communication band, which has attracted attention from multiple network operators and been formally reported to NBTC.
To maintain radio wave order, NBTC hereby reaffirms that:
All Wireless NVRs with RLAN functionality must complete the SDoC certification process in accordance with NBTC 1035-2562 Standards for the Use of Wireless Communication Devices in the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Bands before being imported, distributed, or sold in the Thai market.
If you plan to export or sell NVR devices to the Thai market, please ensure that:
① Confirm whether the product has Wi-Fi or other radio transmission functions;
② Ensure that the product’s radio frequency parameters comply with NBTC technical specifications;
③ Prepare the SDoC in advance to avoid cargo detention.
