CE certification is a safety certification and is a mandatory requirement for household appliances to enter the European Union (EU) market. Before being marketed, household appliances must display the CE mark to indicate that the product complies with EU CE certification (New Approach Directives) and the basic requirements of technical harmonization. This is a mandatory requirement set by EU law for relevant products.
