TEMU Children's Clothing CPC Report Requirements

Recently, TEMU released the latest requirements. For children's clothing CPC reports, formaldehyde content and drawstring test items must be added from now on!

The following are the specific test items for this update:

Main formaldehyde control content limits:

▶ Infant and toddler clothing: ≤20mg/kg

▶ Clothing that comes in direct contact with the skin: ≤75mg/kg

What is CPC Certification?

Amazon's Children's Product CPC certification is a mandatory safety certification for products used by children 12 years old and under. CPC certification, or Children's Product Certificate, is an important certification to ensure that children's products comply with the safety standards set by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). Certified products can ensure that they will not cause harm to children during use and meet the safety requirements for market sales.

If the product does not obtain the cpc certificate, the risks it may face include but are not limited to: seizure by US Customs, refusal to ship by freight forwarders, sales ban by e-commerce platforms such as TEMU, and mandatory recall by the Consumer Product Safety Commission.

How do sellers obtain CPC certificates? 

Since October 2024, TEMU has only accepted test reports issued by testing agencies that have settled in the cross-border service market. JJR has now successfULly settled in the TEMU platform as a compliant service provider. In order to avoid affecting product sales, merchants are requested to contact China JJR LAB in time to apply for the CPC certificate for children's clothing.

Previously, TEMU has strengthened the review of CPC certificates. If the CPC certificate information provided by the seller is incomplete, or a false CPC certificate is provided, the seller will face serious consequences such as product removal or even store closure.
